
Audience
The course is designed for all employees and managers working in the hospitality industry in places with a serving grant, such as restaurants, bars, hotels, pubs, cafes and events. It is suitable for both new and experienced employees who want to ensure knowledge and security in the face of guests, regulations and challenging situations.
Learning
Aim of the course is to provide you with the knowledge and reassurance you need to serve alcohol responsibly, and in line with alcohol law. You will learn what rules apply to age limits, credentials, times of inebriation, intoxication and rejection, and how to handle demanding situations in a professional and safe manner.
After completing the course, you will
This course covers the theoretical and scenario-based training in alcohol law and the rules of serving. The course does not replace
To ensure complete training, the course must be combined with company internal training, management follow-up and practical training in actual serving situation.

PECB courses are conducted in PECB's own learning portal, with presentations, materials for self-study as well as video where available. After payment, you sign up for the course, and receive an email from PECB with registration link, normally within 24 hours of booking.
The price for courses (self-study and e-learning) includes one year of access. During this period, the examination, one new exam if necessary, as well as the issuance of a certificate are included.
If you choose not to attend courses and only want to take the exam, the exam and certificate must be paid separately. The payment is made directly to the PECB.
