It is suitable for professionals seeking formal audit expertise, either as internal auditors or as part of a certification body. The course is also relevant for advisors who assist businesses with environmental management and compliance with environmental requirements.
Learning objectives
Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the requirements of ISO 14001, audit principles and audit methodology based on ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1. They learn to plan, conduct and lead audits, including document review, interviews, identification of discrepancies, and reporting. The course also provides skills in evaluating compliance, assessing environmental performance and following up on corrective actions.
