Audience
The course is designed for managers, HR professionals, safety representatives, AMU members and others with responsibility for or influence on the work environment. It is also suitable for key people in operations and line management who will follow up on sick leave, conflicts and well-being, as well as for companies that want to work more systematically and legally with psychosocial work environment.

Learning objectives
The course provides participants with a practical and holistic understanding of what the psychosocial work environment encompasses, what factors affect well-being, health and safety, and how risk factors can be identified, mapped and followed up. It lays the foundation for working systematically according to the Working Environment Act and relevant regulations, with good documentation, participation and continuous improvement.

After completing the course you will be able to

  • Explain what is inherent in the concept of psychosocial work environment, and why it is critical for health, safety and efficiency
  • Know key risk factors such as role ambiguity, time pressure, emotional demands and lack of support
  • Selecting and using relevant mapping tools such as work environment surveys, employee interviews, safety rounds and deviation reports
  • Analyze survey results and prioritize actions using a simple, systematic risk assessment process
  • Explain the main requirements of Section 4-3 of the Working Environment Act, the Internal Control Regulation and the Regulations on Organisation, Management and Participation
  • Design and use routines, action plans, training logs and meeting minutes as documentation in the work of HSE
  • Plan and establish measures that prevent stress, conflict and ill-health, and that strengthen support, cooperation and communication
  • Involve managers, employees, safety representatives and AMU in a way that ensures real participation and ownership
  • Work on continuous improvement of the work environment through systematic follow-up, evaluation and adjustment of measures
  • Translate theory into concrete action plans adapted to your own business and industry
