This course covers the theoretical part of training in the use of scaffolding. Regulations on the performance of work impose a requirement that the employer additionally conduct practical training. This means that the participant must be trained in daily user control, safe driving, correct use of personal fall protection equipment and handling deviations on the types of stationary used in the business. The practical training should be led by a qualified instructor or trustee who assesses and approves the skills before work is carried out independently. All training must be documented in writing. The course does not cover the assembly, disassembly or modification of scaffolding, and such tasks require special training through fitter courses.
