
Audience
The course is aimed at people who are responsible for environmental management or want to take responsibility for environmental management in a company: environment/quality managers, consultants, health and safety managers, operations/production managers, as well as those who will contribute to the implementation of an environmental management system (EMS) according to ISO 14001. It is also suitable for advisers or consultants who assist organisations with environmental management, and for those who want a career in environmental and sustainability work.
Learning objectives
Participants will understand the basic concepts and principles of environmental management system (EMS) and the requirements of ISO 14001 from an implementor's perspective. They learn to plan, initiate and lead implementation of EMS, including defining scope, environmental policy, risk assessment, organizational structure, operational controls, documentation, communication, training, and awareness raising. Furthermore, they should be able to establish systems for monitoring, measurement, internal audit, handling discrepancies, continuous improvement, and prepare the organization for third-party certification audit.

The price for courses (self-study and e-learning) includes one year of access. During this period, the examination, one new exam if necessary, as well as the issuance of a certificate are included.
If you choose not to attend courses and only want to take the exam, the exam and certificate must be paid separately. The payment is made directly to the PECB.
