Audience
The course is designed for adults who want a safe and practical introduction to digital security in Norwegian everyday life. It is suitable for workers, volunteers, parents and seniors who use mobile, tablet or PC privately or in a work context and who want to be safer on email, SMS, social media and digital services. The course is also suitable for managers and elected officials who want to provide better support to colleagues and users in the face of digital threats.
Learning objectives
The course provides participants with an understandable and practical introduction to digital security in Norwegian everyday life. Through examples, exercises and simple rules of remembering, participants learn to recognize scams, understand how scammers think, and make safer choices in unexpected situations. The course builds basic skills in the use of updates, passwords and two-step verification, as well as knowledge of where to get help in case of mishap.

PECB courses are conducted in PECB's own learning portal, with presentations, materials for self-study as well as video where available. After payment, you sign up for the course, and receive an email from PECB with registration link, normally within 24 hours of booking.
The price for courses (self-study and e-learning) includes one year of access. During this period, the examination, one new exam if necessary, as well as the issuance of a certificate are included.
If you choose not to attend courses and only want to take the exam, the exam and certificate must be paid separately. The payment is made directly to the PECB.
