Practical information
You complete the certification 100% online. After registration, you will be sent your username and password so you can get started quickly. You will receive all the information upon registration and the necessary support along the way to passing the certification.
You must take the PRINCE2® Foundation Exam and pass it before you can become certified in PRINCE2® Practitioner. It is also recommended that the PRINCE2® Foundation curriculum be fresh in memory before taking the exam.
We offer certification guarantee as part of the course. This means that if you do not pass the exam on the first attempt, you get a second chance at no extra cost.
PRINCE2® Foundation
The certification exam is conducted as follows:
- Digitally on PC or Mac
- Exam type: Multiple choice
- Number of questions: 60
- Requirements to pass: 60% correct answers (36 correct)
- Time: 60 minutes
- Assistive products allowed: No aids
PRINCE2® Practitioner
The certification exam is conducted as follows:
- Digitally on PC or Mac
- An exam guard will be available
- Exam Type: Case-based Multiple Choice
- Number of questions: 70
- Requirements to pass: 60% correct answers (42 correct)
- Duration: 2.5-3 hours
- Assistive products allowed: PRINCE2® book in physical format or as e-book.
Certifications and Examinations
You will receive all information related to the PRINCE2® exam after booking. You choose the time that is right for you. The exam is conducted online and is available for 12 months after the date of purchase. With certification guarantee, you get 2 attempts at the exam.
The PRINCE2® Practitioner exam requires that you have passed the PRINCE2® Foundation exam. The PRINCE2® Practitioner exam consists of different question types that must be answered within 2.5 hours. You can use the PRINCE2® manual as an aid. Requirements for passing the exam are 55% correct answers. The exam can be conducted online and requires internet access, audio, microphone and webcam.
Validity of certification after passing the exam
