Audience
The course is designed for cybersecurity and IT managers, IT managers, compliance and risk management personnel, advisors and consultants, as well as decision-makers in businesses covered by or providing services to organizations under the NIS 2 Directive, such as the energy sector, healthcare, transportation, digital services or other critical infrastructures. The course is also suitable for those responsible for planning, implementing or maintaining a cybersecurity program with requirements for documentation, risk management and incident management in accordance with NIS 2.
Learning objectives
Participants shall obtain a thorough understanding of the content, requirements and intention of the NIS 2 Directive. The course should provide knowledge of the strategies, methods and tools required to implement and manage a full-fledged cybersecurity program in accordance with NIS 2. Participants learn to interpret the directive and adapt requirements to their own organizational context, conduct risk assessment, define security controls, establish incident response and crisis management, implement infrastructure and application security, as well as to plan testing, monitoring, measurement and continuous improvement. The course also covers communication, awareness and training, as well as documentation and governance, so that an organization can comply with the directive in a systematic and robust manner.
