Audience
The course is suitable for auditors, internal and external auditors, IT service managers, consultants and advisors who want to be able to carry out audits of an organization's service management system (SMS). It is relevant for those responsible for ensuring that IT services are delivered according to the standard, as well as those who will prepare or lead certification audits based on ISO/IEC 20000-1.
Learning objectives
Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of the principles and requirements of ISO/IEC 20000-1, as well as how SMS auditing should be planned, conducted and terminated according to recognized auditing standards and methodologies. They will learn auditing principles, risk-based audit approach, evidence collection, documentation, team management during audits, reporting discrepancies, and closing audits as well as follow-up. The course also provides exercises and case examples to practice the auditing process in practice.
