Audience
The course is aimed at managers, HSE managers, consultants, safety representatives and employees who want knowledge about health, environment and safety (HSE) in business. It is suitable both for those who are new to HSE management and for those who have experience but need a formal understanding of the standard. The course is also useful for those who will contribute to establishing or maintaining a HSE management system based on ISO 45001.
Learning objectives
Participants will acquire basic knowledge of HSE concepts, definitions and approaches in the field of occupational health and safety. They should understand the requirements of ISO 45001 that are necessary to build or be part of a health and safety management system. The course provides insight into how the requirements of the standard can be applied in practice in an organization to promote safety and systematic HSE management.
After completing the course you will be able to
- Explain key HSE principles, concepts and approaches for safety and work environment
- Recognize and describe the main requirements of ISO 45001 for a health and safety management system
- Understand how the different parts of ISO 45001 (management, planning, support, operation, evaluation, improvement) interrelate in practice
- Assess how ISO 45001 can be adapted and implemented in your organization to strengthen the work of HSE

If you choose not to attend courses and only want to take the exam, the exam and certificate must be paid separately. The payment is made directly to the PECB.
