The course is suitable for people with responsibility or interest in risk management, who want basic knowledge of risk management. It is relevant for managers, employees in management, advisors, project managers, quality managers, compliance officers or others who will contribute to risk management, internal control or decision-making in an organization. It is also relevant for those who want to develop competence to assess risks and opportunities in their own business or manage the organization's values through better risk management.
Learning objectives
Participants will learn the basic concepts and principles of risk management as set out in ISO 31000, including definitions of risk, risk sources, consequences, probability, risk assessment, risk management and evaluation. They should understand the structure of a risk management framework, how the organization can build a framework for managing risk, as well as the process of risk management: identification, analysis, evaluation, treatment, reporting, monitoring and communication. The course also provides insight into how risk management can be integrated into business decision making and organizational management.

PECB courses are conducted in PECB's own learning portal, with presentations, materials for self-study as well as video where available. After payment, you sign up for the course, and receive an email from PECB with registration link, normally within 24 hours of booking.
The price for courses (self-study and e-learning) includes one year of access. During this period, the examination, one new exam if necessary, as well as the issuance of a certificate are included.
If you choose not to attend courses and only want to take the exam, the exam and certificate must be paid separately. The payment is made directly to the PECB.
