Important to note
This e-learning course covers the theoretical part of basic first aid. In order for the training to be complete in practice, the enterprise or the participant himself must carry out practical training and exercises. Practical training must include practicing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, side rest and the use of a heart starter, so that technique, pace and interaction sit in real situations.
In addition, the company must provide local adaptation that allows participants to know the routines, roles and preparedness in their own workplace. This includes placement and use of first aid equipment and heart starters, internal alert routines, meeting venue and lines of responsibility, as well as exercises relevant to the business's risk image. The course does not cover practical assessment and training on equipment found locally, and it does not replace annual repetition and exercises that build action skills over time.
