Audience
The course is designed for workers, apprentices, employees and others who use hand-held, motorized tools in their daily work. It is suitable for all industries where dangerous small tools such as angle grinder, circular saw, impact drill, nail gun, nut puller and the like are used. The course meets requirements for the theoretical part of documented safety training according to the Regulations on the Performance of Work Chapter 10 and prepares the participant for practical training and equipment-specific training in their own business.
Learning objectives
The course provides a thorough theoretical introduction to the safe, sound and regulatory use of hand-held motorized tools. Participants learn about regulations, liability, risk assessment, common accident causes, safe use, control, maintenance, noise and vibration, battery safety, and accident and near-accident reporting. The aim is to provide solid knowledge that reduces the risk of injury and strengthens the safety culture in the business.
