Audience
The course is suitable for IT and security managers, security architects, risk personnel, compliance officers, security analysts or auditors, as well as managers and decision-makers (CIOs, COO, CEO) responsible for information security, risk management or overall management and control of enterprise security. The course is also relevant for security and IT personnel who wish to enter the leadership role of CISO, or who are already CISO and want to formalize and expand their expertise.
Learning objectives
Participants will gain a deep understanding of basic concepts and principles in information security, and insight into the role and responsibilities of a CISO. They will learn how to design, lead and implement a holistic information security program with associated security policies, security architecture, security controls and risk management. They should be able to identify, analyse and assess security risks, as well as plan and implement risk mitigation measures. Furthermore, they will learn how to ensure compliance with relevant laws, standards and regulations, communicate security policies and procedures, and develop organizational safety culture, including monitoring, measuring, and continuous improvement of the security program and incident management.

The price for courses (self-study and e-learning) includes one year of access. During this period, the examination, one new exam if necessary, as well as the issuance of a certificate are included.
If you choose not to attend courses and only want to take the exam, the exam and certificate must be paid separately. The payment is made directly to the PECB.
