Audience
The course is aimed at builders, project managers, designers, coordinators, consultants, contractors and others who are responsible for planning, coordinating or following up safety, health and work environment (SHA) in construction projects. It is suitable for both the private and public sectors and provides the necessary expertise in line with the Building Regulations and the Labour Inspectorate's guidance on safety, health and working environment.
Learning objectives
The course provides participants with practical and regulation-based insight into how the building regulations should be understood and complied with in practice. Through theory, examples, case assignments and summary tests, participants learn how to plan, follow up and document SHA work in a structured and effective way. Participants gain a holistic understanding of how roles, responsibilities and risk assessment affect safety in projects, from planning to completion, and how the SHA plan is used as an active management tool to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
