Audience
The course is aimed at all employees in companies that are covered by requirements for systematic fire protection work, including managers, fire protection managers, safety representatives and other employees. It is suitable for both the private and public sectors, and covers the requirements for training under the Fire and Explosion Protection Act, the Fire Prevention Regulations and the Internal Control Regulations. The course is also suitable as a repetition or refresher of previous fire protection training.

It provides insight into legislation, roles, routines a organisation of fire protection work, and emphasises practical measures, exercises and documentation as part of the company's HSE system.

This e-learning course provides training in fire protection basics, routines and proper behavior in case of fire. In order for the training to be complete, the company must also carry out and document practical exercises locally, so that employees train on warning, evacuation, assembly space and the use of available extinguishing equipment on their own premises.
It is necessary that the company's operations, closure plans, audit, risk studies and procedures for the inspection, control and protection of the necessary facilities are related to the institution and the business. This includes providing employees with the necessary introduction to local escape routes, alarm buttons, extinguishing agents and internal reporting channels.
If the work situation involves special risks, such as handling flammable substances or activities with increased fire risk, the business must provide additional training and practice-oriented training covering the specific risks and local requirements.
