
Audience
The course is aimed at internal and external auditors, audit teams, consultants, security and compliance officers, advisors and managers who wish to specialize in auditing artificial intelligence management systems (AIMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 42001. It is suitable for people with a background in auditing, quality, risk management, IT management or consulting, who will either perform or lead audits of AI management systems.
Learning objectives
Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the principles behind AIMS, including the framework, requirements and key concepts of ISO/IEC 42001. Students will learn to interpret ISO/IEC 42001 requirements from an auditor's perspective, understand how to assess compliance and which auditing methods and techniques are relevant. The course also teaches how to plan, conduct and conclude an audit, including audit planning, evidence collection, evaluation, reporting of discrepancies and administration of audit programs in line with requirements such as ISO/IEC 17021-1 and audit guidance such as ISO 19011.
