
Audience
The course is intended for individuals working in information security, privacy or data processing in organizations, such as privacy officers, IT managers, security and compliance officers, data security teams, and others who are responsible for or interested in the processing of personally identifiable information (PII). It is also relevant for those who want to build expertise in privacy management or want an introduction to how a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) based on ISO/IEC 27701 works.
Learning objectives
Participants will learn basic concepts and principles of PIMS based on ISO/IEC 27701. They should understand the structure of the standard, including requirements, guidelines and controls to protect the privacy of PII owners. They will also learn how ISO/IEC 27701 relates to other relevant standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27002. The course provides knowledge of methods and approaches for the implementation and management of PIMS.

The price for courses (self-study and e-learning) includes one year of access. During this period, the examination, one new exam if necessary, as well as the issuance of a certificate are included.
If you choose not to attend courses and only want to take the exam, the exam and certificate must be paid separately. The payment is made directly to the PECB.
