
Audience
The course is aimed at internal and external auditors, consultants, risk management and continuity managers, managers and advisors involved in or responsible for business continuity in organizations. It is suitable for those who want expertise in auditing and ensuring that a business's business continuity management systems (BCMS) comply with the ISO 22301 standard. The course is relevant for both small and large organizations in all industries who wish to document, verify or certify their readiness and ability to deal with interruptions.
Learning objectives
Participants will learn basic principles and concepts for a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) based on ISO 22301. They must be able to interpret the requirements of the standard from an audit/auditor perspective. The course also provides knowledge of audit methodology in accordance with international auditing standards (ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1), enabling one to correctly plan, execute and conclude audits (internal or certification audits). In addition, participants will learn how to assess compliance, document observations, identify discrepancies, and evaluate effectiveness of BCMS.

If you choose not to attend courses and only want to take the exam, the exam and certificate must be paid separately. The payment is made directly to the PECB.
