The course is suitable for consultants, managers, IT managers, security and risk personnel, compliance staff, quality teams and others who want basic insight into information security controls. It is relevant for employees of organizations responsible for ICT security, operations, security management, privacy or internal control, as well as for people who want to build expertise in the field of information security.
Learning objectives
Participants will learn basic concepts and principles of information security, cybersecurity and privacy as defined in the ISO/IEC 27002 standard. They will gain an understanding of the standard's structure and control areas, organisational controls, human controls, physical controls and technological controls. They will also learn how ISO/IEC 27002 relates to other information security standards and frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27003.

The price for courses (self-study and e-learning) includes one year of access. During this period, the examination, one new exam if necessary, as well as the issuance of a certificate are included.
If you choose not to attend courses and only want to take the exam, the exam and certificate must be paid separately. The payment is made directly to the PECB.
