The course is suitable for managers, consultants, quality managers, employees in quality teams, or others who want basic knowledge of quality management. It is suitable for those who want to become familiar with the requirements of ISO 9001 for quality management systems (QMS), or who want to contribute in the implementation, operation or maintenance of quality systems in an organization.
Learning objectives
Participants will get an introduction to principles and concepts related to quality and quality management. They will learn the main structure and requirements of the ISO 9001 standard, including how a QMS is built. They should also understand how the organization can work with risks and opportunities, quality policy, product or service production processes, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement during a QMS.
After completing the course you will be able to
- Explain basic concepts, principles and definitions in quality management
- Explain the main requirements of ISO 9001 for a quality management system
- Identify measures and approaches organizations can use to achieve compliance with ISO 9001
- Contribute to the implementation or operation of a QMS in your organization
