
Audience
The course is aimed at managers, consultants, QA/food safety officers, internal auditors, production managers, operations personnel and others working in food production, food industry, distribution or catering, and who want basic insight into food safety management. It is suitable for both those new to the role and those already working in food safety, as well as members of teams who will be involved in the implementation or maintenance of a food safety management system (FSMS).
Learning objectives
Participants will acquire basic knowledge of principles and concepts of Food Safety Management System (FSMS). They should understand the requirements of ISO 22000 for an FSMS, including policy, management commitment, operational controls, prerequisite programmes (PRPs), hazard analysis, traceability, monitoring, risk control, performance evaluation and continuous improvement. They will also learn methods and approaches that can be used to implement and support an FSMS in practice.

The price for courses (self-study and e-learning) includes one year of access. During this period, the examination, one new exam if necessary, as well as the issuance of a certificate are included.
If you choose not to attend courses and only want to take the exam, the exam and certificate must be paid separately. The payment is made directly to the PECB.
