Audience
The course is aimed at managers, consultants, quality/environmental managers, operations personnel, environmental coordinators and others who want a basic understanding of environmental management. It is suitable for people in all types of businesses who want to contribute to more sustainable operations, regardless of whether the organization is small or large, as well as those who want initial training in Environmental Management System (EMS).

Learning objectives
Participants will acquire a basic understanding of environmental management concepts and principles. They will learn the structure and requirements of the ISO 14001 environmental management system (EMS) standard, including environmental policy, operational controls, measurement of environmental performance, management commitment requirements, internal audit, management review and continuous improvement. They will also understand how the requirements of the standard can be applied in practice in an organization.
