Basic training in the role of the safety ombudsman and AMU work.

Audience
This course is aimed at members of the Working Environment Committee (AMU), both employee representatives, management representatives, safety representatives and others who participate in the systematic work of the company's health and safety. The course is suitable for both private and public companies that have, or are planning to establish, AMU, and who want to ensure that the committee works in line with the requirements of the Working Environment Act and regulations on organisation, management and participation.

The course provides the necessary competence to perform the duties of AMU member or protection officer in low-risk environments in a safe, competent and legal manner, and meets the requirements of Section 7-4 of the Working Environment Act and, upon agreed shorter training, Section 6-5 of the Working Environment Act.
Learning objectives

Participants learn how AMU and the Safety Ombudsman together should contribute to a fully sound working environment, how cases are handled and followed up, and how they can conduct preventive and systematic HSE work. Through examples, reflection assignments and a final test, participants' confidence in their role and understanding of how cooperation between AMU, safety representatives, management and BHT creates a better working environment in practice is strengthened.
