The course is also relevant for managers, safety representatives and HSE managers who are responsible for chemical handling and a safe working environment.

They will learn about acute and long-term health effects, exposure pathways and vulnerable occupational groups. The course provides insight into regulatory requirements, the hierarchy of measures, safe handling, use of protective equipment, hygiene, storage and waste management, with the aim of reducing risks and preventing health damage.

This e-learning course covers the theoretical training related to working with diisocyanates. In order for the training to be complete, the company must additionally provide

  • Practical training in own work operations, equipment and products containing diisocyanates.
  • Conducting risk assessments and preparing local work instructions adapted to actual working conditions.
  • Access to and training in the use of proper protective equipment, ventilation and technical measures.

This means that the course must be combined with the company's internal routines, practical training and follow-up to ensure full compliance and a proper working environment.
