Compend + information security from Gritera = true!

On 17 January, the Digital Operational Resilience Regulation (DORA) came into force in the European Union - a common European regulatory framework with requirements for the financial industry's management and assessment of ICT risks.

However, information security is important for all businesses regardless of industry. All employees should be aware of the importance of information security for their work tasks and how they can carry out their work in a way that ensures this. Therefore, training in the field of information security and privacy is highly relevant for all employees at all organizational levels.

“The field of information security is central to Compend's ambition to simplify our customers' work with skills development. We are therefore pleased to announce our collaboration with Gritera — a leading provider of advisory services in the field of information security,” says Commercial Manager at Compend, Kristian Ulen.

A rich selection of Gritera's courses is already available for purchase in Compend. Competency activities for different organizational levels and areas of responsibility are under development, so that companies should find their entire need for training in the competence platform.

“In our search for partners in the distribution of our service offering, Compend stood out as a complete solution for planning, implementing and documenting course and skills development. Their tools handle all forms of training — enabling us to offer the full range of our services in digital courses and webinars, physical education as well as hybrid forms of learning,” says CEO Svein Bekkevold of Gritera Security. The collaboration will also include other Gritera service concepts, and Gritera will also be a provider of Compend.

According to DORA's entry on January 17, the financial industry must have in place safety management (ISO 27001) and risk management (ISO 27005), where the course DORA Lead Manager stitching together globally recognized frameworks and standards with compliance with the regulation. These courses are already available in Compend.
